Enters the Outsider
This project follows the narrative of a man who has never experienced life in our society before, it explores the emotions that the Outsider feels as well as he is going through his journey of traversing our cities. All of the photographs where shot on a Hasselblad 500cm accompanied by a Carl Zeiss 40mm f4 Distagon. I wanted an effect that would spark the imagination of the viewer and get them to think about what it must be like for people less fortunate than them what it must be like coming to the west after fleeing from war-stricken countries. The wider angle lens I feel reflects the narrative excellently as one of the emotions I was trying to convey was the feeling of being overwhelmed.
